Monster Club - What we will do for youposted Dec 12th 2005, 9:10AM
As a club we intend to bring together various monster drawing/painting/sculpting artists. Through the club a community should (hopefully) form, resulting in a group of people whom can inspire and help one-another through their somewhat like-minded art.
Quality, constructive critique is encouraged through this club - rather than 'Wow, I like! ' or 'It sucks'. I know many online artists are disenchanted with the world when all the comments that they receive via the internet (or even through real live people) about their art are as useless as that.
The more tangible things this club can offer will be prizes for competitions. These will definitely involve short term employment (fully paid) as an artist, artworks produced by various artists and money, among other things. Each prize for each competition is likely to be different - so when competitions begin please read all the information before entering (ie; don't enter a competition if you don't have the time to commit to temporary artistic employment if that's the prize)
Beyond that, as this club is still newly forming, members are welcome to suggest things (within reason) that they would like the club to provide. If a non-member has a good suggestion we will listen to that too.
